DESCRIPTION: The large main room at the Aiken County Recreation Center has hosted many events over the years, including birthday parties, family reunions, church gatherings, meetings, training classes, weddings, dances, and many other special events. The facility rental includes up to 11 Round Tables and/or 10 Rectangular Tables, and 95 chairs. Other amenities include a 55 Inch Television w/ Cable, WiFi internet access, water fountain, and men and woman restrooms.
This rental include access to the kitchen area, which includes an ice machine, stove/oven, microwave, large sink, and refrigerator/freezer.

DESCRIPTION: The Aiken County Recreation Center has a modern pool with spray jets throughout. When not being used for normal business hours, the pool can be rented for private parties. The pool rental includes use of updated men and woman restrooms and changing areas, pool chairs and loungers, multiple shade structures, water fountain, misting fan, and a wooden pergola for 2 hours.
*** 2 lifeguards are required and paid for with the rental fee.
*** No alcohol, pets, glass, weapons are allowed in the pool area.
*** No diving is allowed in the pool, and all infants and toddlers are required to wearing swim diapers. No exceptions.

DESCRIPTION: The Aiken County Recreation Center features 2 full-court, outdoor basketball courts. There are multiple sets of bleachers in the court area, as well as a water fountain. The courts can be rented for tournaments, camps, or other programs based upon need.

DESCRIPTION: This covered picnic shelter is perfect for a family function, birthday party, or a cookout. This is the only picnic shelter at the park, but can host upwards of 50 people under the shelter and on the grounds near it. Parking is adjacent to the shelter.

Aiken County Recreation Center, situated on about 8 acres, is located off of Hwy 1 in Graniteville, SC. Amenities include a new playground built in 2016, covered picnic shelter, multipurpose room, concession stand (during the summer), kitchen, open greenspace, dirt walking trail, picnic tables, benches, and 2 recently renovated basketball courts. The Recreation Center is a great place for family reunions, birthday parties, wedding receptions, and many other events. The Recreation Center hosts a 10-week summer camp, a yearly Halloween event, and many other activities. The park recently received a major overhaul with the addition of a brand new outdoor swimming pool (lifeguards on duty), new pump house, completely renovated bathhouse with showers, and a freshly repaved parking lot that added a new parking area near the shelter. A new paved and handicapped accessible walking track is scheduled to be installed in 2017.
