DESCRIPTION: The Listine Gunter Courtney Center, built in 2006 and located in the town of Wagener, is our newest park facility. It's the perfect place for your wedding shower, baby shower, anniversary, birthday party, or other special occasion. The facility rental includes up to 11 - 6 ft tables, 1 round table, and can comfortably seat up to 100 people. Other amenities include a 50 inch Television w/ Cable, WiFi internet access, and water fountain.

A $100 refundable deposit is required for all rentals. No pets or alcohol allowed in the facility.

The Listine Gunter Courtney Senior Center, located in Wagener, was dedicated in 2006. The Center houses an Aiken County EMS station and Aiken County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism offices. The Aiken Area Council on Aging serves meals to citizens over age 60 from Monday to Friday. Senior Programs, such as Bingo, Senior 101 Fun, Canasta, and other activities are geared toward those over age 55. The facility also features a sewing room, exercise room, computer stations, and free Wi-Fi for guests. The building is also available for rentals on a reservation basis. With a capacity of 100-150 people, the Courtney Centers perfect for your next big event. Call for more details on programs or to book the facility.

Residents in eastern Aiken County can now pay their taxes, register vehicles, apply for high mileage and receive their registrations & decals for renewals on vehicles taxes without having to drive to Aiken. These services are available on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
